New Locks

Well I sucked it op and bought 2 locks today for practicing because my ML#3 and my GUARD lock are too easy now regardless of technique. I did alot of reading about the ML140 so I purchased that along with an ML40.

Getting around the spools in the 140 is a new experience for me and I dont imagine ill be picking this lock in under 10 minutes anytime soon. Its such a great fealing to SPP without scrubbing at all and fealing that sweet tension just disapear though. It makes that 10-15 minutes worth it.

Its kind of like golf, you struggle all day and then you make that one perfect shot. Then your day was worth it.

Does no one pic the n40? I havnt seen any reference to it as of yet, but I still have a quit a bit to look through

I haven't tried the no40. but trust me once u get a feel for it ull have the 140 open in second every time. best bet is to get something u can repin.

I thought about getting a deadbolt and buying a pinning kit, but the few places I looked didnt seem to sell security pin sets. So ill just have to look around some more.

Seeing as the 140 has 2-3 spool pins, after fealing them out for a while im almost possitve that the N40 has 2 spool pins at pins #2 #3. Both I feal are excelent locks to be practicing with

You don't necessairily need to get a pining kit, just change the pins in the lock around for a new challenge.

Get a Schlage.It's gonna be step up from your master locks !

Just something I thought about. If you want a repinnable padlock with pins and pin guage, Kwikset make a padlock with extra pins and guage and still uses the standard kw1 key.

You may not be interested but it was just a thought. I ran across it while I was at Wal-Mart the other day.
