Gonna need more details than that dude. mainly as its antique. If it is the chances are its best to get it done professionally. But if your determined lets have a look at some pictures.

That sucks. You're going to have to make your own picks or order tools from abroad. You won't find lever locks tools on Southord.com or lockpicks.com

Here in the UK we pick lever locks all day long so yes theyve been picked just like almost every lock out there,

Drop us some pics and we will tell you how to bend your wires and what to do or alternitively you can look at the site and read the relevant threads, i would advise my 2 in 1 pick tutorial first,

That's a very nice looking lock :-)
The tools needed to open it are easily made, and a four lever should be a good challenge, but not impossible!

Hours of endless fun there dude :-)

What you have thewre is a differant type of lever lock than we would normally talk about in the uk as a lever lock,

Yours uses a flat key, these will still have square cuts on and turn into the levers to lift them to height and open the lock,

You are gogin to struggle opening this lock with no previous experiance as they are so tight inside,

As some advice you need to look at this a bitdifferantly now and use differant tools as wires arent the best,

You need to consider how to tensionm the lock, this may be doe with a cut down key blank or small wire but remember you need to get on the moving part and tension that, tensioning the keyway will do nothing and should infact just spin around anyway,

Tension the lock and then use a hook pick to lift the levers up, this is gogin to take prtactice and if the locks reasonable will be quite a challenge for you,

If you look at the Falle basic picking set you will see the european kits get some 'lever lock picks' well these are the same sort of thing,. you use them to lift thelevers instead of the normal turning a tool into the levers to lift them,

If you want to break it , yeah!
Don't even think about it...
Your gonna have to make up your own picks for that lock, along the lines of what is used to open the "European type" lever lock.
Have a look at the picks in the threads and make up something along the same lines but your's are gonna be smaller.

miller

Postby greyman » 11 Mar 2007 15:56

I thought you meant Miller 6-lever push-key padlock. If anyone can pick these beasties, I'd like to know about it. You cannot directly tension the bolt!

For the 4-lever Miller in your photos, you need to make some manual lever picks - make them quite strong, out of some welding rod or something stiff. Not sure about the size of tensioner you're going to need - experiment with this. I'd mount the lock too, or else you'll need 3 hands :)

OK im only going from the picture of that lock but that looks like a curtained lock, the master is not a curtained lock. so no a different tool is used.

Some one correct me if im wrong?

all the best
