in future though try to name your threads a little better... you title should be related to the content of the post... this one looks almost like spam

IMHO=in my humble opinion
we get alot of spam here of all shapes and size and numerous are dedicated to search engines, SEO and the like.... so a thread titled "I know i could use search" comes across as something similar... especially with the poor spambot grammar

in my humble opinion
(or in my honest opinion)
You are not from around are you?
Good luck with the picking anyway!

Btw. what does SEO mean?
Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

You're Talking about this guy here right? http://www.lockpicks.com/index.asp?Page ... ProdID=266 . I bought the $37.95 version a few years ago and to be honest I never use it. I thought it would come in handy where the lock is situated in an awkward position but in my opinion it is a waste of money. The spring loaded feature doesnt really make the picking process any easier or better either. I wouldnt bother with it.

i have the cheaper one it works at times but i found that the pins are to short for some keyways.if you have extra money buy it, if not buy square spring steel and you can make your own any size you want that seems more useful in my experience.

I have the aluminum version of the tool ** the one with out the gauge marks** and it is ok for a few situations at best. To be honest, you loose alot of much needed feedback with it, and it tends to want to pop out of certain keyways. I bought it when I had some extra money, used it for about a week, and then just found it again about 3 years later. Thought it was ruined from corosion, but a hot oil bath and some wd40 brought it back to life. Buy a set of winshield wipers for 9.99 and then make 10 tenion wrenches of your own, add a twist for feather touch, and you saved 40 bucks, and have more tools.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

One mans trash...is another mans lockpicks.
nothing wierd about bro.. get what you can get. where ever you can get it. ...
you think looking through the trash for old windshield blades at a macanics shop is wired. ... No.
a guy who goes out and buys new windshield blades for make tension tools.. now thats wierd. ..
why but when there free.
Every couple weeks.. I go to the junk yard.. {u-pull -it} and practice picking ignitions.. and doors. .. while i am there i always come out with about 20 windshield wiper blade inserts. .all diffrent sizes.. all free...all some ones trash..

I agree, I never pay for them. I get them out side of advanced auto down the road every time it rains. They keep trash cans outside and when it rains everyone buys new wipers and throw their old ones away. I was just using buying one as an example of even if you spent 10 bucks to buy some new, it would be 10 dollars spent alot more wisely then the 40 on the other tool. And don't feel weird about digging in the trash, when ever someone asks me what I am doing I always tell them that my wife lost our baby down here and I am trying to find her. At which point I start yelling random girl names....lol. It freaks people out and they tend to leave me alone.
