I'v asked the police officers in my area what's the law on have a set of lockpick. He told me when it come to lockpicks it's all about where your at And for what reason. He explaned to me that if you were cought on someone's/business property tresspassing you would also be in trouble for the lockpicks.. but if you were stopped in your car with them and you have had no burg charges lately you should be alright. He told be to becareful and if I need to be on a "property"..especially after hours have the owner or someone related to that busines there with you.. or you could be detained untill its everything is sorted out. {witch could be untill the next monday when the judge has time for you.}... anyway.. its all about what your doing and where and why.. my advice would be not to carry lockpicks unless you have a reason...
