No matter what anyone else tells you, that pick is beautiful! I love how you designed the pick underneath the handle. As soon as i get home i will make myself one just like that. And is that tension wrench serrated? If so, you are my hero!

That pick looks great. The blade looks nice and thin, which will reduce the chance of over setting the pins in front when you are trying to set the pins in the rear. Noce work 8) 8) 8)

If that really is your first pick then you've done a fantastic job. Try cleaning up the bends and twists on your wrenches for future ones. Good job.

The overall design of the pick is nice, but IMO the tension wrench is a little less to be desired. Considering this is your first set, really good job.

Keep up the good work. :)

Yeah the pick looks great. It would be a wonderful pick for a schlage lock or other tight fitting keyways, assuming it doesnt break because it is so thin.

Did you make it out of a hacksaw blade? or what

The pick and wrench are both from hacksaw blades, the pick is this great strong carbon steel hacksaw blade i found around the house, the tension wrench is from another hacksaw blade i brought, but it bends a bit which is great for the tension wrench.
Its my first proper pick i made, the rest where just practise ones. Yeah, i didn't finish of the tension wrench, im going to make a proper one once i have a design i like. It was my second tension wrench i made and it's serrated, my previouse one was an allen key which i ground down

what did you use to serrate it? and does it feel like it makes a difference in the lock?

I used the corner of a small diamond file to serrate it, but u can also use a dremmel. I had the smooth edge wrench, then cut teeth into it, then filed down the un-serrated part so the teech stick out the bottom and grip the inside of the lock.
It makes a difference but i don't think it is essential

Here is a link to the tutorial on how to do it
