part number for LAB pinning kit

Postby lunchb0x » 12 Mar 2007 5:46

Im not sure if this is the best place to post this but hear it goes

years ago LAB made a large pinning kit, all the pins inside it where in the little plastic containers like what they come in when you get replacement pins, i am after one of these kits because i am getting anoyed with my kit falling over and pins going everywhere.
I have looked in the locksmith supply and lock and key books which are the only locksmith supplies in australia, i have also looked on the LAB site and it looks like what i am after is discontinued, but deos anyone know where i can get one from

thanks

All I have ever seen are the racks that hold the vials.

You mean something like this? http://www.locksmithtoolandsupply.com/s ... y_Code=PKT. This is a nice kit and it seals tight when closed. I've never had any problems with the pins escaping with this kit.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

My email,

Hello,

I have been looking for a pinning kit that you sold a while ago, but I
can't seem to find it. The pin kit was designed to hold the pins in the
small refill vials, very similar to the vial stadium, only it was a
closeable case. Is this product still available, and if not could you
provide me with a model number for it?

Thanks,

And their response, very quick too, seems like great customer service.

Dear Mr.,

Unfortunately, that kit is no longer available. I found several old
flyer dating back to the late 1980's with it on it. It seems that it
was available for numerous types of pins, or with empty Vials. I could
not find a part number anywhere; it was advertised as 'LAB Poly Pin
Box'. At one time we also had a Pin Taxi, part number VPT001, that also
stored Vials. Hope this information is helpful to you.

Sincerely,

Sorry dude, don't think this is of much help....
