You locksmiths down in the states using an RW4 or upgraded RW3.... Do your suppliers have the Y160-EK, MIT8-EK or NI01-EK yet? We just got our RW4 but our supplier doesn't have these EKs yet... Anyone know anything about that? By the time our supplier has these keys, Silca will have released a new machine

We don't have the upgrade yet- but I saw the Y160-EK's in one of the supplier magazines the other day. Don't remember who it was though.

is that key blade only, or head included? Down here, we have the RW4, but all our keys are marked EH2 (i.e. toyota keys are the TOY43EH2). I picked the mitsubishi blank, and I think the N101's a ford blank (afaik), but what is the Y160-EK for?

The N101 is a nissan, the Y160 is Chrysler. I make transponder keys withe the T-code and MVP tools, but we aren't cloning the Chryslers or Nissans yet, we're still doing the link and learn styles.

Just to follow up...

The big ugly Ilco keys for the Y160, N102, MIT9, MIT8, and H84 will soon (if not already) be made by Jet and Bianchi with the smaller heads like the H73. Much nicer and I think we'll hold out to use these ones...
