I'm quite a newbee, so i started with some really cheap padlocks first. A friend of mine gave me 3 of them, and after some trying i picked them all. Then i moved on to my bike lock. Which is a a bit more expensive, but i also picked that lock within 15secs. I tried picking some door locks, but no succes. When i release the tension, i hear some clicks, but i have got no clue if i'm doing it the right way. I thought those locks are maybe too difficult for me, so i tried the padlock of our gate. It's a Abus 65/50 and these are pics of it:
I can't even seem to set one pin

It's really frustating. When i use the standard pick and go all the way into the lock, it often gets almost stuck there. I was really motivated with picking locks after those picked locks, until i found this one. I have no clue of what i'm doing wrong. I used every pick i have, but to no avail.
I opened the lock with 2 shims, but that's no fun!

I want to do it the hard and learnful way.
Greetings from a Dutch lockpicking newbee
