Singful, your thinking of a differant lock,

lock

I know I was talking about a different lock. But my suggestion was to get the skill to feel the lock and then transfer it to the lock he has now. As I said I find it easier to reverse engineered a problem, and I just through my story in just for fun.

And i meant he has a totally differant style of lock,

I assume you mean a combo lock with a dial on the front?

He means a bike chain with a barrel on it, not a dialed combo lock,

There would be nothing to transfer between the two as there is nothing simular between the two at all,

One uses a big dial on the front that you spin round and the other has a series of wheels that need to be rotated to line up on a code,

I know what you was meaning but am trying to explain these are two differant types of locks,

If he was to go out and buy another lock the same as he has and try to crack that hes in the exact same position as he is now except he now has two locks that he cant pick,

lets end this

Postby Singful » 22 Mar 2007 10:30

sory if i was unclear i know he was talking about a bike lock i have one like it; but i was using the exampal of a combo lock.

and he would have one lock with a combonation and one with no combonation. and he could lurn to feal the one that he knows the combonation for it might help. there now let that be the end of this.

We should Just make a sticky where all the simple combo locks are listed and the best method of opening them is given. Maybe just maybe it will stop people from starting new threads about them...

Once all the methods by different users are listed then we can combine them and pictures of the locks into one big PDF.
