I went to the gym, and locked my locker with a immitation combination master lock. I don't know the name but it has a raised area on the top where you turn the numbers to. When I got back my locker was locked, and my wallet was gone. The lock shows no signs of damage or marks. 6 other people had the same thing happen to them. The thief had taken my wallet, the paper money from my front pocket, but left my change and my keys in the pocket, and then locked the locker back for me. I want to know how easy would it have been for him to pick my combination lock? Also I went out and bought a Brinks R70. Will this stop the thief? Thank you
This is how I read a 1. post from a guy who does´nt know how to fill in his profile, and furthermore does´nt return:
 Hello, my name is Grap It First, and I am in a hurry. I came because I would like to find out how to go about opening my friend´s locker today after lunch. I want to go to the gym, and unlock my friends locker his got a immitation combination master lock. I don't know the name but it has a raised area on the top where you turn the numbers to. And when he gets back to his locker I want it to be locked, and his wallet is mine - lol. The lock can show no signs of damage or marks. I plan on doing it on 6 other lockers too. I want to take his wallet, the paper money from his front pocket, but I´ll leave his change and his keys in the pocket, and then lock the locker back for him. I want to know how easy it would be for me to pick he´s combination lock? Also if he went out and bought a Brinks R70. Would this stop me from stealing his wallet?
Thank youtube

Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

I understand any discussion of a flaw in the S&G8088 would be advanced forum only material, however I was under the impression a serious flaw/bypass had been discovered for this lock, and it had been taken out of use for protecting classified documents. Towards the bottom of this link http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/gen-comm/info-notices/1982/in82046.html it is stated : The Model 8088 units can be easily defeated, do not meet the terms of Executive Order 12356, are not approved by GSA, and are not acceptable for the protection of either classified material...

I do know that there is a flaw, but I don't know what it is
However, I was just trying to have a bit of fun with db.
I do know how to drill for combination on these locks, but I do not know if that is the flaw described.

Chucklz, you're supposed to be in retirement. Now don't make me call one of the nurses to help you find your way back-- dinner is ready and I hear it's meatloaf day. Oh, nice slippers.

Didn´t mean to be harsh, it was the first thing that came to my mind, just trying to be funny
