LSS manuals: your thoughts on the public version?

Postby strangedream » 23 Mar 2007 4:09

I was just wondering your personal thoughts on the manual?

I own it and the only thing I have to say is I wish I got the GOVERNMENT VERSION instead. I learn more about this stuff on private legal websites than I do in those manuals. I do lock picking and safe manipulation as a hobby nd its rally more about how locks work than how to open them.

You will not get an edit button, end of,

You also would not get the goverment version of Lss and maybe not even the lockie one either,

Lss isnt there to teach you how to pick locks, it was written to explain the types of locks and various methods that they can be opened,
Marc Tobias then copied the work and put it to cd whilst throwing in a few updated bits as well,

He's uptight because having 80 different posts about the same thing in different places makes searching the site difficult.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
