Hi, when i saw that lockpickshop.com was a lp101 sponsor, i've chosen it to order my lockpicks...
But when i try to order i've 2 problems:
- when i choose italy the shipping cost is like asia instead europe
- the lp101 code doesnt work for the discount (message when u try to insert "lp101" on the Gift Certificate box: The certificate key you entered was not found)
For the first problem i've already written to lockpickshop (waiting for a reply).
For the second problem can someone tell me why?

Try LSI instead, as regards the europe thing maybe its just an error,
Not all items are elligable for the discount coupon and sale items are especially not covered,
However as always we are not the keeper for these people and its not an issue we can solve or remedy in any way,
In cases like this it is of no help to the company concerned or yourself to post up your issues without even talking to the company first, it simply makes no sense,

Maybe the code was changed and i wasnt able to found it... i tought so
Thx i'll wait for a reply from lockpickshop.
PS: LSI doesnt work too

I know that as of a week ago the LSI coupon code was working fine. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be now. LPS is usually very good at addressing issues that arise, so wait to see what you hear from them.

I've tested some items (not sales items) with both codes but i've recived always the same error...
If they answer to me i'll tell u why

The reply:
Shipping costs are more expensive to Italy as well as Spain because neither country accepts US Postal Service Global Priority Mail. This is the preferred service we use to all of Europe as well as Asia. There is more work and more risk involved in shipping to Italy than to other European countries as a result. Unfortunately this is why the cost of shipping is higher. As for the coupon codes we have been updating the module and the work will be finished late afternoon and you will be able to use the code you have. We apologize for the inconvenience. You are typing LP101 in the wrong box. It does not work in the gift certificate box. Theres another one that says "discount code" or something to that effect. Put it there and it will work fine.

i ordered a week ago using lp101 and got the discount just fine.
really pleased with the service although for some reason the package was never tracked, usps never even recieved it according to their tracking site, but that's not lockpickshop's problem i guess.

In the last week there was only the gift certificate box, now there is the coupon box but the code still doesnt work.
Maybe some work in progress...
I'll try again in the next days.

I have yet to get a package that i could track with the USPS tracking number from any shop. I don't know why any company bothers to send you the tracking numbers when they do you no good at all.

I hear a lot of bad press about the USPS!
I only have good things to say about them, I prefer USPS over any courier, they are as quick, the tracking number is a little more basic than a courier service but always works for me.
And they are a lot cheaper
Never had a parcel go astray, or any undue delay using USPS.

My order shipped from LockPickShop.com on March 20 and arrived in Hamilton Canada March 29.
Their shiping to Canada by United States Postal Sevice usually gets here in 7 to 10 days. With no stupid custom fees like when you ship UPS.
Some items that are allready discounted do not get the lp101 discount.
The other items do and it saves ya a few $$$.
Note: if you pay by paypal and your account is linked to your bank account, it can take up to 10 days for the funds to clear. THIS IS NOT
the fault of LockPickShop.com.
Once funds clear ....... they ship your stuff right away.

I'm having problems with www.lockpicktools.com now. I ordered monday with 2nd day shipping. I got an order confermation, but nothing since. They have not answered emails.

Sorry to double post but i have an update. I called and Lockpicktools shipped my order the day I ordered it. She must have entered my email address wrong. I will get my new toys today. So no problems with the site, just a mix up with email.
