Unknown Lock

Hey,
I am fairly new to lock picking and my knowledge of locks does not extend much past pin tumblers and lever locks. Below is a link to a picture of the key to my brother's flat, the key itself seems to have moving parts itself (circular on the left of the picture).

I was wondering how the mechanism of the lock in which this key fits works, and if possible how to pick it. Thanks in advance,

P.S. Sorry if this has been covered before. I have browsed the forum, and not knowing the name of the lock, it is impossible to search.

Can i suggest that you dont pick locks that are in use though especially this one as if it messes up youve a big bill coming,

You can tell it's a multilock because of that muscle man ont the key bow. That's their trademark.
