I don't really have the money for a 2-in-1... would one of these open it?

Second one down... the "classic lever pick"?

thnx :)

Try making your own 2-in-1 - it's pretty simple, cheap to make, very satisfying and every bit as good as the commercial ones. Snapcarp did an excellent guide ERE

You can pick them with two bent wires but it's a bit hit-and-miss, especially for a beginner. The 'Classic Lever Pick' is just a bent bit of wire afterall.

I advise buying anything from that cowboy company,

2 bits of wire is far from hit and miss, its all about practice,

Make your own, i certainly wouldnt be buying one,

If you mean a double bitted lock as in one that has a bit coming off both sides of the key then thats discussion for the advanced section,

If thats the lock you are attempting to pick and not the type ive shown above than a lot of peoples time has been wasted

I know what a squire 220 is you just threw in there how to pick a double sided lock which is a totally differant type of lock,

Did you mean a lock that takes the key from both sides then?

Pins? This is a lever padlock!

You put the tension on the bolt thrower, which is at the back.
Loading pithy, witty comment in 3... 2... 1...
