What lock to get from England?

My mother is on vacation in Oxford and has offered to pick me up a lock or two. Obviously I want something that's not common here in the States, so I'm thinking a lever lock of some sort. Is there one you guys can recommend that's not too hard to find and is worth playing with?
How about euro-cylinders?

Hands down favorite is the Chubb Battleship--very cool, just keep in mind it's going to run close to $200US (believe it's about $180US, but it's been a while since I checked).

After that, if you wanted a typical, but high-quality, mortice lever lock, I'd say a Chubb 3G114 or 3G110 (they still make the 110?).

After that, maybe a Squire HS1, similar to the Battleship but entirely nickel plated, corrosion proof (it can be used in salt underwater environments), and a bit less expensive than the Battleship.

hmmm...Maybe some kind of 10 or 14 lever safe lock??

You will also struggle picking them as your first lever locks,

If a couple of us send your mum a lock weve ripped out someones house your not gogin to end up paying top dollar (well anything actually lol) for somthing you a) dont need the hardware for and b) are only wanting for picking,

As for cylinders, maybe a yale x5 then somthing like a gege euro again just thinking of price for you,

You can get the Squire padlocks from hardware suppliers in the states. I would suggest going for things you can't easily get here. 5 lever locks, both BS and not. It is possible to get 2 and 3 lever locks here, but they might be cheaper from the UK.

Lever locks are easy to find.
If you want something nice why not a lever padlock?
euros are easy to get as well. ISEO are fun to pick. union oval locks?

A Union 3 lever mortice lock.
A Chubb 5 lever mortice lock.
And anything else she can carry

You then got both curtained and non curtained lever locks, both good fun to open. And both good quality locks to have .

yea i agree a union 3 lever, and a chubb 110, or maybe 114, for picking,

also maybe a safe lock, do you get kaba over there as they go cheap on ebay think there only 6 lever, get some euro cylinders, if theres a screw fix near they sell sterling ones rather cheap, or a union oval,

not sure what you guys over the pond cant get hold of really..

I need a break from here i think, the site issues are driving me crazy as ive got a slow connection as well so it takes a min to load a page then it gives me a webpage not available message all the time, when i get back on it shows ive posted 5 times,

Im sick of it to be honest and its gogin to very soon drive me away,

it's not just for slow connections i get it all the time... especially in the early am (EST) and the connections i'm on are quite fast
