Interesting lock, I've managed to set all the pins but it still wouldn't open (Yes I'm a cheater picking a cutaway).

have you tried pushing in the cam at the back of the lock once the pins are set?

Correct - the insert in the pin is for drill resistance, not a free-moving pin inside a pin. DOM also use the same antidrill pins in their iX-10 model.

I don't see anyone saying they picked it, I think we have to get our german members to tell us more about it, PickPick or MH or someone perhaps who is also a member of ssdev, if theres information about picking that, the germans will be the ones to have it, or know who to ask, Arthurmeister? or Barry?

What I like about DOM D is the shape of the keyway. It reminds me of a beast with horns sticking out. Kind of evil! :evil:

Someone paid almost US$200 for one of these on ebay the other day (not me!!!). I would think you could pick one up for around US$40, just keep looking in the "locks from Germany section" (you'll need to tailor your search).

As for picking, I can't help you with that. I never tried. I would think the keyway makes it pretty difficult to manipulate, but because the pins are in two axes, the binding sequence may favour one side before the other.

Pft, fat bag of good that would do me, I wouldn't be allowed to read it. If I do get it I'll post more info on lockenpedia.
