What's this magic bypass then?
I installed one, and the customer called a few days later to say it had failed - but they bought the hardware, so it wasn't really my problem, and not my fault. By the time I got there (40 minutes) they had used a screwdriver and just forced the bolt back, regardless of the anti-slip bit. Left a heck of a mark on the door and frame.
I'd warned them this was possible when I fitted it, and to use the deadlock when the office was empty. Which is probably where they got the idea from!
I've found a few where the anti-slip latch part will let you slip it if you hit the door hard as you apply bolt pressure. It bounces it slightly, and pop! Works well on a lighter door that's a bit loose.
