Tension wrench design

Postby Jason13 » 17 Apr 2007 2:17

Hello all,

Some of you may remember me making a lockpick from these materials

Coper pipe *Handle*

wiper blade *not grinded and bent on end for hook*

this was not really a good pick but would fit inside of a yale euro cylinder.

but then i was stuggling on getting my tension wrench to fit on the of my american lock 1105 lastnight when i got this coper handle hook pick and did this with it.

So the use of the copper handles is to allow flexibility?

Thats a pretty neat design. Looks like a modified version of a feather touch tension wrench or something.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Its not really a feather touch. Ive only been picking my American lock with it and its a hard lock so i havnt yet opened a lock with it yet.

That lock is a real bugger. I can pick it, just not consistently enough to put it away. I took the core of the lock out and carried it in my pocket for a few days so when I was bored at work I could practice on it more.

Good Luck
