got a call today regarding a unican number change on an exterior door and also to fit one to an interior door, never done this before, also how much to charge.. any help...

Im gonna have a stab in the dark here and guess thats some kind of simplex lock. if im right then you normally have to disassemble part of it i believe?
But i could be wrong.

you dont have to dismantel it if you have the combo already.
but to change the combo you need a key for the lock on the inside of the lock to get access into the lock
i can put up how to change the combo but i think this lock is for the advanced area

What type? 7000 series or 1000 series I'd presume? Both should take seconds if you know what you're doing and have the existing code and cobination change key/installation wrench for the 1000, which the owner may have anyway if you haven't...

If you are fitting the same Unican on the second door you will get instructions and any spanners/keys needed with it to change the code on the first door.
Regarding price, RRP of the Unican + labour at whatever you charge per hour.
