OK, so I picked this one: Image and then "picked," if you will, this one: Image
and was wondering what models they were, by the way, the Master is a 4-pin.

I have the same Master Lock but it's not numbered on the lock. I think it's a 140D and I believe it has 3 spool pins. Someone more experienced may correct me though

My apologies for posting what was already posted. Guess I took a little too long to post.

no problem, it is indeed a 140D the lock will have some spools in them but the spools are such small cuts you will hardly notice them ifu get the tension right.

So if I could pick this lock (Master 140d) in five seconds, which I can, I'm pretty good?

What Locks are these? Master 140D

Postby David_Parker » 25 Apr 2007 17:58

I believe the 'D' stands for Display, as in individual plastic packaging, where as a 140 would just be one in a cardboard box, often the case when being purchased in bulk.

The 140 and 140D should both have top spool pins. The plastic body surrounding the brass may just be a 'weather-proofing' shield. Plus, the model will vary due to the shackle length. Look for 140DLK.
