Best Rake?

OK, so I'm just buying a few individual picks including a hook, diamond, ball, and rake, but which rake is the most useful? (Such as a C Rake, L rake, S rake, or W rake)

i like the snake looking one the best out of commercial locks but the bogota is the best rake out there

Where would I find a bogota rake? Or just make it from Raimundos guide.

Too much to start off with.Try buying a couple of different shape's and see what suit's you.Also try making a bogota style rake but they do not take much punishment.But Rai's are far better made than I have achieved.The double half diamond that look's like the batman logo is the best I have used so far.

Uh, batman logo, Im lost, unless you are talking about a two peak bogota with regular spaceing, (the two peak sabana is widely separated)

Holy pick batman I just got some of Rai's picks in the mail and Im super stoked on them, I never used a pick like it before so it took a minuet to get the feel of holding it properly, allthough I was picking locks even before I figured out the proper way to hold them.
Any way I say get your self some , and rai thanks for being so quick .

Personally, I like the S rake. But, as SEVEN said, it's a very personal issue.

I've found that some people like rake X vs rake Y for any number of reasons. I could be something as simple as being able to feel what's going on inside the lock better with one rake over the various others or finding a rake that fits one's style of picking (or skill level) better than the others.

As for the Bogota rake, I've never used one (or made one, yet). From all the reviews I've read here, they sound stunningly effective, but again, I can't say that from experience (shame on me...).
