Is the 3g114 p+c able to be adapted (without losing original intent) to work on other brands? If so what brands and what mods are needed?

Hoping for legge!

The 114 P & C was designed for the 114 & 114e. If I understand right you asking if it can be modded to open Legge?

There is a seperate system for the Legge

I understand that with i small modification it can be made to work A N Other lock, and still do the 3g114. The legge is my next kit to purchase.

Try a Chubb 114 blank in a Legge no way it will not engage the curtain try a legge in a chubb and yes it will engage the curtain but the spacings on the levers are wrong so its a no no.
I have tried the union decoder on a chubb 114 and got half way there but towards the end the lever spacings were wrong.
I dare say it may do something but I cannot think of any chubb copies but I can think of a couple of legge's such as century BS and an another one that I have seen that may go on the legge decoder.
If you find one let the forum know.

Good Luck

I spoke with horsefeathers via pm,

It is possable but involves some carefull machineing,

The mod allows the tool to be used on another chubb lock and almost certainly another chubb lock on top of that but ive not got around to testing it on the 3rd lock,

It leaves the tool unaffected in opening 114's,

There will be no further info posted or pmed about this from me as it has ties with another project im gogin commercial with,
