Keep reading man. Or use the search. Took me alot of reading before finally getting my first lock picked. It was fun and interesting. It also requires alot of patience. So if your intentions are wrong, this is not the place for you.

Ok first off you are already picking locks that are harder then the ones I have. I will give a little more history about my self in the introduce your self after I post this.

I read a few things you said that also made me (hopefully I am wrong) worry about your intentions. You say you lose your shop key a lot but not your car keys. How is this possible? I keep my most important keys on one ring. I am also one that is worrying about your intentions but I also know most thieves are lazy and would rather brake in then to take the time to learn how to picklocks.

So to give you the benefit of the doubt here is my suggestion.

You are spending a fortune on the locksmith so first thing is to talk with him about a discount for bulk purchase. The second thing is to take a correspondence course (diploma in a cracker jack box). This will save you money after words and pay for its self if you are loosing the key as often as you say.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.
