I'm sorry to say this, but you are not following the ethics and moral that we follow around here. That kind of automotive videos you have doesn't belong to Youtube nor anywhere else.

 oh well done, you've shown a few thousand kids how to jiggle open car doors, ignitions and steering wheel locks. I have to say i really don't agree with this kind of thing.

If you want to show off thats great. im always happy to watch videos of members opening a challenging lock. And if you MUST open cars at least host them on photobucket where they are not so accessible.

I mean why even make an instructional video on how to jiggle open cars.

1 - this is a hobby site and that doesnt really take any skill.
2 - it breaks the "dont pick locks you rely on" rule.
3 - auto locks are advanced material.
4 - you are literally teaching people how to steal.
5 - it gives the sport a bad name.
6 - you are destroying those locks going at them like that.

OK rant over. feel free to reply or flame in any way you wish.

See this is why I like this site I learn something from others.

#2 That is good to know TY

# 3 Oh that is good that this is advanced material however this kinda stinks for me. I was wonting to use the forum while taking my classes as a place to ask any questions and this one is going to hurt. Oh well I would rather have a harder time learning then to have someone come here and then brake into my house. So I guess this one is all good.

a lot of the information on auto locks is already out there on the internet. but this is the first place people come no matter what there intentions. Stick around and keep contributing as you learn and you will be in the advanced forums before you know it.

All the best

Car locks aren't special for beginners. First try to pick some cylinder locks. All those typical locks can be opened by raking. It's no real picking.

I don't want to get into a urinating match here, but saying all "typical" locks can be opened by raking is simply not true. What do you consider to be a "typical" lock?

He has over 200 posts since January of this year. I think we will be reading from him again.
The search button wants to be your friend. It is getting really lonely. Would you be its friend?

freakparade3 is right on this one :) As we don't know where you Axilithor live, we can't know what is "typical" lock. For me "typical" lock is an Abloy (rim, mortise, padlock, lock) and Abus padlocks.

I do not agree with all the rules of this site, and I do not believe picking car locks is advanced at all. But I do agree it makes us all look bad when advertised on the net. It is so easy to do and to show people that could use that info with bad intent is just plain stupid!
