I have a green master No 131...that I have been practicing on. My question is....does this lock have any security pins in it?

don't think so

Yes, I checked with their site 1st, but I didn't see where it said any of them have security pins.......for instance

it doesn't say this $24 one which I would hope has security pins in it does

i know the 230 does have some spools.. But I don't believe that the 131 does...

oh and make sure you're consulting the manufacturers site not some shill that adds a S on the end

The 131 does not have security pins.

If you're having difficulty with it and are just getting starting with picking, it's likely that the key cut depths are too varied for your current skill level. Which isn't to say that you wont reach that level soon! :)

An easy way to pick out a Master lock that you think will give you the right level of challenge is to take a good look at the keys in the package before buying.
