My First Set : Videos

Postby WiseMan1842 » 9 May 2007 18:10

Other day my first pick set I've bought came in. It's a Southord 14 piece set for $20 USD. It was pretty much the best deal I could find. The site I bought from is www.netlinkenterprises.com .

Here are my vids. Sorry for the bad audio on the shim one. Will fix later.
If you all like them I'd appreciate it if you could comment and/or rate them.

I can't find an edit button so I'm just making a new post.

I'm preparing to make a 10x better tutorial than the one I have for picking locks. I know there's like tons out there but you can never have too many resources. Right?

I would be scared to only have a kik kwickset on my front door without at least a some kinda of deadbolt.

Lol so true.

However you probably have no idea where we live. Small small town, in mountains, like 10 miles back in woods. Not much to worry about haha.

Sounds like a perfect place for a "crime of opportunity". No one around, dark woods, several minutes away from a police response.

Yep, no reason for better locks or reinforced jambs and door wraps  .

Lol and have them take what? Maybe my fancy 1986 wood panel tv. Or perhaps all the money I don't have in my wallet. The crook that breaks into my place would be loaded.

Knowing my luck they'd take my lock picking set haha.

Glad to see a good sense of humor 8)

PS. I'm now thinking about your console tv from '86. Retro is in you know :P !

I liked how you picked your door lock with the pins pointing towards the ground. For some reason I get frustrated on the same lock you have when its upside down. I guess my mental picture or whatever can't handle it.

You made a pretty nice hook pick out of a bobby pin. The end of it looks near perfect.

I'm curious, do you still use it even though you bought a set.

Lol thank you for the sense of humor comment.

Thanks Knowthebird. Yea my hook bobby pin is still very useful to me. I just put it in my leather pouch that came with the set.
