Well heres my first pic of a lock, just got my camera here it is. Never heard this make before, its some cheap <£5 lock which im glad isnt securing my house. Taking it apart and repinning it was rather hard, bout an hour including making the plug follower, but enjoyed every minute. well done on pinning your first cylinder, it gets a lot easier after the first :wink:

i've picked a few securit locks, they're easy but will make a decent beginners lock.

well done. it doesn't look TO badly made, check out "ross" for a really cheap lock, but for the love of god don't buy one.

Thanks for the repllys, and yea the pic could have been better, wasnt my camera and was on quite a short timescale. Got my Pentax Optio A20 today, a week late, should bee seing some better pictures from now on =D. Next purchase is some new locks...still to get round to it.

Securit hu? never heard of that brand. are those spools pins? i cant really tell

Securit is a brand i found an a local cheap hardware store, nope, no security pins at all, was a good first lock.

i think what looks like spools is actually dirt/oil
