1. How do you dissasemble solid brass padlocks? Is there any method besides hacksaw, grinder, plastic explosives...?

2. I SUCK at shimming my master lock no. 3. I have never been able to do it with soda can shims. I see all those videos out there of people doing it to combo locks. I know about the standard black face combo locks. I know they work on them, but do they work on the Sphero Combination Locks? The Resettable Combination Locks like these? http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/produ ... late=style

I am assuming it is easier to shim combo locks because after you enter the combo it can be pulled open, there is no force to open it like with a keyed padlock. Am I correct in my assumption.

I know next to my streetcar stop there is a stop sign and the pole of the sign has a lot of holes in it. You know those poles? And there is an American 3105 (I believe) padlock on it. It has been there for like forever and I hate to see a great lock go to waste. I would never ever pick in my lifetime but just to satisfy my subconscious do they have spool pins?

And that combo lock picking method by pulling on the shackle and clicking the numbers until one gets stuck, does that work on all combo locks? I know it doesn't work on combo locks with the black dials but does it work on all of the other ones? Thanks.

I am a n00b.

Touch that american lock and you will be cast away on this site as a thief,

Search the site before posting as your questions have been answered many times before,

There is a thread on disasembleing brass padlocks and others linked to that one as well,

Shimming is vastly covered eleswhere espcially on the shimming thread, why not infact post up on the actual thread made for you question in the first place insdtead of making a new one?

I dont like people who refuse to search and simply post up what they want when they want to know somthing,
