Hook me up, duder.

And I agree with blake1803, vanity domains and mail servers rule. I can route email on the spot with a simple addition, permanently blacklist addresses spammers hit (sales@, etc), and I can default to any email @my_domain being sent to my real inbox.

I'll also be posting a review of the bogotas soonish. They've been great so far but I haven't had much "me time" for picking lately.

local problem,

Postby raimundo » 15 May 2007 9:22

I am more convince than ever that it was done locally, as I have discovered yesterday that a notebook and some picks were taken from the bag that I carry the laptop in, these were both in a plastic zip pouch and the other things in the pouch are still there. I would sometimes leave my laptop when I went to the can, trusting that if anyone messed with it the other people around would at least tell me about it and point out the person if they were still around, these people I trusted were mostly strangers, but not the sketchy looking ones, and I also have some friends at that cafe that I no longer go to. I am certain that they would not let someone touch my stuff without protest.
You might have noticed that I have a generous nature and err on the side of trust, which I still think is appropriate in 98 percent of the people but there are sneaks around I guess.

Uh, you walked away from your laptop in a public place, with it logged into this site? Or any other site? OK, say after me, set a login password for the laptop and always, always, lock the screen when you walk away. Ctrl-Alt-Del and Lock Computer. This is not high security, but it's free and a minimum. All this aside from the physical security issue. Not to mention how easy this type of security is to defeat should one wish to.

http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ for example.

Trust but verify.
It's a good day when I learn something new.

Ive since made a set of picks using windscreen wiper inserts as we dont have street sweeper bristle in the uk, not twhere i live anyway.

although they are a first try i am very pleased with the results and have opened a various number of different locks with them.

I would still like an original set though from the man himself!!!
