can someone help me about this
ive been picking a door lock on my house for some time now, and i havent been able to pick it (for the record, im a n00b and i have opened 3 door locks so far). im using tension wrench and diamond pick.
i apply some pressure on and i start to pick it, i think ive set all the pins down but the lock doesnt seem to move. ive read that the most common mistake is too much pressure, but if i apply less pressure, the first pin doesnt reach the shear line. i dont know what am i doing wrong, its a classical tumbler pin lock with 5 pins i think.
i never did the exercise with 1-5 pins, and have never dissassembled a lock, however, ive read enough to know how locks of that type work.
i cant say if it has any security pins because i didnt pick it to the point where i can say that
