Hi, could anyone tell me how come i picked this lock with the standard stem.
i though you needed the e series stem and wire to do these locks.

i'd assume it would be due to the design of the lock

could be due to a lucky lever pack.
i clicked through all the levers in 30 seconds and it popped open.

im glad i got the cb pick 5g standard.
its saving me cash on drill bits.
i can pick all with it apart from the 3g114 and 110 so in time ill get the decoders for them.
ive got the securefast one so that covers that lock.
just the era profits and the new securefast that i know fly open on the 7g cb pick.
could decode that anyhow.

im beginning to regain the buzz of lockpicking now ive progressed from drill points.
it was getting boring.

Yes, the levers are the same, the curtain is slightly different on the 3U114E though.

they mark up the same same as the new union 2134 and the new yale 560, after all they are the same lock made in the same place, other than colour and of course price, the only other difference is a slight difference to the chubb curtain.

these pick with ease on the belcher or francis tool regardless of low levers.

the Chubb 3G114 is alot trickier but still picks with the 5g tool. the e series pick was designed for the chubb 3g114e lock, not the 3u114e lock.

the e is only the code to confirm the changes to comply with europes guidelines for an insurance approved lock.

Thanks for almost clearing this up.

Just one more thing.

why do safeventures sell a union bs decoder which does new yale 560 and chubb 3u114s but then sell a chubb 3u upgrader decoder if these are the same locks?

Forgive me if i sound stupid but was the first batch of chubb 3u114 locks not based on the union b/s?

The chubb" upgrader" is a different lock, 5 lever but not BS.
