I was just about to finish ordering my pick set from lockpicshop.com, but I saw this thing on the bottom of the return policy.
It said that all lockpicks are nonmailable unless to an authorized lock smith!? so does that mean that I can not order them for myself? I'm planning to learn this as a hobby over the summer. So can any U.S. people help me out plz?

o and I looked at the states laws map thing in the forum, and my state (MI) doesn't have a licensing law but chicago does, which is where the shop is located at. So I was guessing maybe I don't need one?

ok, so I found out that it's against the law to send lockpicks by mail from one state to another in the U.S. unless it's going to a locksmith or some other person with a license.
So how did all of you U.S. people who are doing picking for a hobby buy your picks? any help plz?

do you want me to slap you now or after ?

although this has been covered in millions of threads billions of times I guess your prowess or lack there of have left you in this situation...

It's a CYA(cover your arse) technique... that means you can buy all you want and they'll ship it to you but if you get caught doing something stupid the onis is left on you the buyer and not them the seller

Now look up at the top right corner of this page.... see that link? USE IT

If you are not a locksmith, please do not ask anyone to mail lockpicks to you.
