Garrison Key

Quick question, quick post:

Does the MUL T LOCK garrison cylinder require the secure card for extra keys to be cut if the card is not present? I'm just thinking 'cos the keys don't have typical 'replication prohibited' or 'do not copy' printed on them.

Yes, key cutters should ask for the card before copying.

The machine most have is only a code machine. to 'copy' a key i would have to decode it first. if you came into the shop with only a code you would be asked where the card is, unless your code is 666666 then you would be asked to leave lol.

A laser machine will copy the garrison keys if you have the right cutter and stylus,

yeah we use a silca machine same as what we do car keys on,

i have actually been told by garrison, that if a dealer is caught doing keys without the card they can actually stop trading with you for it,

so lockies should ask to see the card, altho tbh i can pretty much decode 7x7 keys in my head lol, once ya get used to them its easy..
