I got my Brokhage snape gun about a week ago and It has the odd hicup but otherwise it works great. THAT IS OF 2 DAYS AGO. Now I really don't like it. It seems I can open most of my locks with it. When I am in the "feild" ie. salaging old locks from random places I can't seem to open a single one. Why is it that I can open my own looks relativly easily however I can't open ones that are outside of my cozy little house??

Please tell me that you are a professional locksmith and you were just relating a personal experience while you were out on a lockout call. Please. Otherwise this is going to upset a lot of people on this site.

My understanding was the Brokhage BPG-10 is quite a good gun and Brokhage was a well known brand over in USA am I right?

I have'nt been able to pick anything with it but thats due to: I dont use it that much and I lack good experiance - i think it looks as if its good build quality too.

And its not a piece of crap, it works EXCELLENT!!!!

In fact, all the pick guns i own and have tested all work the same, if you can't get one to work then you probably just need some more practice and better technique.

Just a simple question but are you using a tension wrench? And if so.. you just applying constant pressure or are you "chasing" the pin hits?

Sorry I have to ask this question but sometimes its as simple as "What I have to plug it in?"

I bought one in '02 and like it alot. Its has helped me on numerous occasions.
But it does take a while to understand how to use it properly, and yea tension is a big factor.
