I do not think i am a monitor of the site. I was simply leting you know the rules. Digital Blue however is a site administrator. He locked your thread for violating the rules. If you read the new users section you will find all the rules, as well as how to apply for the restricted access section. Just so you know, questioning what the site admins and moderators do is not a good way to start here. Good day to you, I wish to help you no further.

A good way to start here? I have been reading this site for just over a year, only decided to take membership lately, so dont assume. Anyway a simple answer to the question was that they were bypass tools. End of. So next time please dont rable off rubbish when I allready no.

It's best to just let this go and move on. If any of the members notifies you that your topic of discussion is advanced and then the thread gets locked it's nothing personal, just a way to prevent lurkers from getting info on bypass and advanced stuff they haven't "earned" yet. It's really no big deal, no one was mad at you. It's just the site rules.

Yes i do understand that. But I know the rules and I know that we cant discuss bypass methods, but when I asked what these two tools were for, i did not need to be told that lock bypassing is not allowed to be discussed. All that needed to be said was:

"Matt-the-rat, these are tools commonly used to bypass locks, however, we cannot discuss lock bypassing in this thread as it is against the rules."

It just makes me mad how some people talk on this website.

This response not only implied that they are automotive bypass tools, but that further discussion would not be possible on this forum. The thread was not locked because you did anything bad, but to prevent anyone else from elaborating on the subject.

To answer your question though... yes, some people DO believe they are monitors on this site. Hence, their power to lock your original thread.

I strongly recommend you grovel before their feet, being the powerful monitors they are.

Enough bashing Matt for the first thing. Second thing, Matt read the rules again as it states "do not question a moderator for their decisions". This could be their decisions on a post, application for advanced membership, etc.
