I keep occasional paperwork like a late bill or side business papers locked in the car until I need to do something with them like deliver them on my lunch break or bring them in, make a phone call, and then bring them back out to the car.

Keys and wallet are always in my pocket.

If it's company property, then he should have access to it.

Your best advise that has been given is to get a small lock box of your own to keep personal effects inside of.

Could go for keeping something rediculous in there and see if he comments. Then just ask why he was looking in there. Space for some creativity

i definatly think the lock box is a good idea.

If i were you i'd get one and bolt it down inside your cabinet.
Also the condom idea is a good one.
Put a couple of used ones in there.......sorry i think i went too far

These two are standard "Staples" merchandise.

Seperate all things your boss has any business with and leave them on your desk in a tray, put the personal belongings in one of these in the locker or leave them in your car.

just saw this one.....
easiest option is going to be a lockbox for personal effects... If you want to get more complex you could build a steel strapping system.. but thats a little over kill

after that you could set up a easy and cheap mag alarm system, uses a 100db alarm and he'll shite his pants ( like this one here) you can buy them fairly cheaply and attach them with double sided sticky pad

of if you want to really shock him you could use one of these.... PM me for more details on how to hook that up....

Cheers

Haha UWSDWF kinda beat me to it. I was thinking.... booby trap. Hehe.
Some eggs with a vertical liftoff (catapulted), perhaps as soon as the drawer opens, haha, and you could pass it off as your lunch... :)

The condom ideas are halarious too.

But yea.. the seperate lockbox is probably your best option, as mentioned.

OH man., the two ideas just combined... How about a few catapulted used condoms as a booby trap. Haha. I don't think your boss would open that drawer again. :D

Just a thought.

How smart is your boss? Might he be fooled by something like a false bottom or back to the drawer?
Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said couldn't be done.
