How do I pick car locks?

Postby Matt-the-rat » 2 Jun 2007 3:33

Being without auto jigglers, how, or is there anyway I can pick these type of locks with an ordinary yension wrench and standard picks? If so where would I put the tension wrench in the lock, would I have to pick the top and bottom of the lock and even If I did get auto jigglers, could an ordinary tension wrench be used?

Hi again Matt.

I'm uncertain if your question is genuinely ignorant of the rules previously described to you, or intended to frustrate us into flaming you some more.

But, as previously described to you, we will not provide help or discussion for automobile lockpicking or bypass.

The best way to get through a recalcitrant car lock is to use a standard phone to call a standard locksmith. No special tools needed.

To answer your question, yes, their are many other ways to open automotive locks. But alas, we cannot talk about them in the open forums as it is clearly advanced material.

Did I do better with my answer this time?

Please read the rules, on this forum we generally all get to recognize each other in some respect. there are not that many common posters compared to some forum and its easy to get off on the wrong foot.

We will happily help you with any locks that are not regarded as advanced material.

1. Insert one ordinary tension wrench into left nostril.
2. Insert one standard pick (your choice) into right nostril.
3. Dance around the car singing "OOGA BOOGA BOO" wiggling the picks until
4. the police arrive and can recommend you an auto locksmith.

Easy! Do send a 'picking video'.

Is every interesting lock on this site advanced apart from pin tumblers, can I ask questions on wafer tumblers or are they to advanced?

The rule of thumb is that locks typically attached to items that are frequent targets of theft (cars, safes, payphones, vending machines, ATM's, etc.) are not discussed in the open forums.
Yes, obviously pin tumblers are used as house locks.

Well, regular wafer locks are fine.
The specifics of automotive wafers? No go.

Use your noggin.

Please review the rules before posting again. I'm sure by now you've figured out that our members here are not interested in providing auto info in the public forums. Play by the rules, or play somewhere else.

Thank you.
