Yes another Master lock thread. I did use the search button.
Is there a trick to picking the Master #1. I have been trying for 4 days now with no luck. When I first got the lock I picked it 7-8 times, I did it in seconds. Now I can't get it open. I don't have a key.
I am useing a hook pick.
Thanks

does the tension feel any different?
is it possible you've damaged it?

No the tension does not feel any differant. It's just staying in place. Well I guess who cares, I only paid 10 Cents for it.

I don't really care about it. Ill find more at yard sales. I have a box of house locks, I just need to get off my butt and make a lock board. and I have a few other padlocks I can play with.
The Master #3 is a joke so I stopped picking that.
Thanks for the help

Well I got the lock to open.
Really don't know what the problem was, but I sprayed some WD40 in the cylinder and let it sit for 10 minutes, now I can open it in seconds
I understand you should not use WD40 but I figured that I had nothing to lose.
