List of carbon-steel hacksaw blade manufacturers

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

List of carbon-steel hacksaw blade manufacturers

Hey i was wondering what brands of hacksaw blades people used here. None of the stores around me carry cheap hacksaw blades which is a bit aggrivating. Sorry if somone asked this question before but i searched and couldn't find anything.

I have boughten blades from Wal-mart, Menards, TSC, Home Depot, Lows, Ace, Bomgards, True Value, ect.

I usually buy them in 3 or 5 packs. I dont think there is a difference between any of the ones that I bought. They were just standard blades for cutting metal.

I know this is not the list of brands that you wanted, but its all I got off the top of my head.

I buy 15 for 1.50 at Big Lots. I think I have seen them at Dollar General different times for almost the same price.

100 blades for $7.99

50 blades for $3.99

of course, if you have a harbor freight nearby I'd just go to the store and see what they've got.. I managed to get the 100 pack for $4.00 and at one point they had an online special with 200 blades for $4.00

they work great.

Wow. The original poster never bothered chicking back in but I will say thank you for the pointers! I have thinking in my head that hacksaw blades cost several dollars each :D

Since I have already bent my snake-rake at the tip and was planning on buying at least some pliers and sandpaper , I am thinking about going ahead and buying a Dremel and some hackaw blades.

Harbor Freight Is the Greatest Store Near Me I Love going there, But of course I love cheap Prices and tools.

Like someone else said there Quality On SOME of there tools Isnt up to pair but you just need to Use good judgement On picking what tools to buy from them, because They really do Have great Deals.

I completely Forgot about the place for getting My hacksaw Blades untill I just read this Thread, Now I cant wait to get a few bucks and drive down to the local Store. ( Which I'll probably spend HOURS in )
