And to answer your question, the biggest maxis is the 250 IIRC.

Ill take any of the Mul-t-lock and Abloy stuff you are willing to part with.

Yup. It all starts with one lock, next thing ya know, you've up to your neck in locks! Nick, is the 225 the biggest lock in the Maxis line? I just found this old picture, some of the stuff (like the Fichet 787 cutaway, The Miwa 3800 KIK, and the Pollux lock) I no longer have.
Anyone know what the name or model no. of the big S&G is?

Unbreakable, the big S&G is the Hi-Shear LK1200.

zeke79 wrote:Maxis was a canadian company IIRC. Now defunct, the locks are sparse across the US but you will run into some occasionally. Nothing special really, the key is 3 pieces. A blank, a sleeve and a collar to lock the sleeve on. Picking is tough as tensioning the cylinder with a standard wrench can only be done by binding against the plug and bottom pins making it hard to lift the pins and even harder the more tension you use.
I have picked a few and have several along with given away several in the past as xmas gifts I think it was.
OK - I thought that Maxis was Japanese. Thanks for that correction, Zeke. My assessment of Maxis is that they're a piece of cake to pick as long as you can get some tension on them. A piece of sticking plaster out to do it
