heres a quote from a english slang dictionary,

Noun. An idiot, objectionable person. Derived from the rhyming slang Berkshire Hunt or Berkeley Hunt, meaning 'c*nt'. Normally Berkshire and Berkeley would be pronounced Barkshire and Barkeley. This expression is generally accepted as inoffensive despite its source. Also 'burk'.

Either way im sorry i moved the thread to the advanced sections, i got it wrong and didnt realise just what the score was until it was politely pointed out to me to which i put the thread back and appolagised which is what schuyler quoted,

as in give me a butchers? means 'lemme see' theres a whole list of the stuff on the internet somewhere, look for 'rhyming slang' its all about talking in a way that the uniniciated don't understand, kinda like some drug dealers do.
