Is something such as decoding the combination to a lock considered advanced? I found a lock at my house that I would like to ask about, but I don't want to upset people by asking a question about "advanced" material. It is a push-button lock with 10 digits, each having it's own button. If acceptable, I will post pictures of the lock.

Yes, that is exactly what it is. Well it seems that I will just have to be patient, and continue to work at devising a process by which to decode it myself. Also, if it is allowed and somebody has, or has access to pictures of the insides a Keysafe that has been disassembled I would appreciate it.

You can try by pushing in every one button possability and then move to two numbers, then three, etc.
Been playing with locks since '68.
