Slimline picks any harder?

Postby jonnyb » 3 Jun 2004 11:55

Hi,

I have searched and searched the forum and read every post on slimline picks. Many people say that they are slightly harder to use than the normal picks, but I can find no mention of why this is.

If anyone could say if they are any more difficult, and why; that would be great!

Thanks in advance,
Jon

I havent found them to be any harder to use but it could be the fact they can have a bit more give so you may lose some feeling with them. I have thinned most of mine down to help with the narrow uk keyways and still pick ok with them. At the end of the day its personal preference :D

I find that when I slim a pick's shaft down, the more springy pick becomes hard to use at first, but you get used to it.
