FAB Czech lock

Postby charlie1 » 29 Jun 2007 3:48

Helo,
let me introduce the lock which I use for my front door.

The lock is made by the Czech factory FAB and is communicated by them as the higgest security lock.

The lock has diferent security levels, depends on side of the door. From the inside the door, it is standart 5 active pins lock with no security features. Just for fun, I tried to open with the snake rake and it opened immediatelly.

But from the outer side of the door, the 5 standart active pin system is forced by 8 passive side pins, 4 from each key side.

I tried to open this side with everything, I got in my hand, and was not succesfull.

Once my wife left the key behind the door, she called the locksmith to open it, and it took him cca 20sec :-) She says he had kind of wire snake rake in his hand. (It is not possible to pass from the security side to the nonsecurity sidethrough the keyhole).

So if you will give me yor ideas how to pick this lock...

No sorry,

We do not discuss the picking of locks that are in use or not yours and you qualify for at least one of those,

In addition to that a lock that is dfeemed high security is also not discussed in the open forums which gives another good reason to simply shut this thread up now,
