I'd rather pay $550AUD than ~$1000AUD, which is what it used to be, back in the day...
Also, the NiCad batteries are being phased out soon afaik. So I got in
1)While there's still stock available and
2) before the end of the financial year. (Claim it on my tax return)

Hopefully, my work tool allowance account will take the heat, and i'll be reimbursed... 8)

again Mutzy, I have one as well and it is infact a wicked drill....

now just ave up for the 36v one :twisted:

yeah, 2-and-a-half years of tool allowance saving later... :)

My 18v one should keep me going for a while. Now for work to actually send me off to fit some deadbolts...

(on the other hand, i've got a job tomorrow to fit 4 nightlatches onto a wood door with a 5mm steel plate on one side. That should test it out... :twisted:)

Bloody hell that is a good price. I just paid £249 sterling for mine. And I've seen them for £300 sterling here. About $500 USD
