Does anyone know of any lock data files made for these devices?
It would be great to be able to look up any data on a lock while out in the field. ie.. Key blank number, Number of pins, Security pins included, etc.

As does treskat.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

I have a Palm Tungsten E2. If anyone knows about a program that will work on it, I would love to hear more details!

I just use the "pocket edition" of LSS. Unfortunately, it still weighs 10 pounds!

Mines a T2 buggs and im in the same boat as you,
You can get adobe for it and read any pdf but thats as far as i bothered as it was too much trouble to bother with but now ive put a new battery in it im tempted to look into it again,
I would love lss on it but unless folio do a portable version of their reader i dont see how it can happen and thats if you can get past all the associated crap that would go with trying to copy it over,
Maybe ill have to suck it up and simply by a handheld pc but i would rather use what i have or a mobile phone like the nokias out now,

There are (or were) many emulators that allowed PC applications to work on the palm platform.
I knew someone who was designing a lot of software for the palm platform. That work all but ceased to exist since the demise of the Palm OS.
I believe Palm may be trying to make a comeback using a Linux based OS.
IC needs to be downloaded in PPC format too.
Perhaps the simpler solution would be to use one of those pc sharing services online...like logmein.com or gotomypc.com and then just use the webpage to access your home computer and look up your codes at home.
I like www.logmein.com because it has a free version and it's very stable.

Shrub, and Buggs, with full rights in the electroinc LSS you can print, so using something like cutepdf you could print all of LSS as a pdf, which you could then put on your T2.
It would be really simple to do, just print all of LSS as a PDF to a folder, then copy it over to your T2, and once you had Adobe or some other pdf reader on your T2, you could read and I presume search all of LSS.
Just a thought.

If anyone can direct me on how to get my instacode to my T2 palm then i would be most greatful,

Last I knew, it is possible to emulate the Palm OS on a Pocket PC but not the other way around, so it would not be possible to run Pocket Instacode on a Palm device
Sorry Shrub... here's hoping someone proves me wrong, though!
Frankly I think it's odd that they don't have a Palm version -- you'd think there would be sufficient demand. Maybe call/email them ( http://www.whsoftware.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=19 ), who knows, maybe they're working on a Palm version as we speak

I would think palm os is dead, it was never god to begin with so i doubt anything is being developed for it,
I imagine i will just go and buy a second hand, hand held pc and be done with it as long as i can interface with it otherwise it would be just spending money needlessly as i do have 3 laptops with one living on the van for this sort of stuff normally (not left on van over night of course),
I gues it worth asking about but i think your right its not gogin to be somthing that will work on the palm os,
