Try using a hack saw blade or the metal from inside a windshield wiper. Street cleaner bristles are also popular. Good Luck.

alllen wrench

Postby raimundo » 18 Jul 2007 6:56

the allen wrench that you show actually has been made into tension levers, by many on this site, however, it cannot be cut with a file, you must use a grinder, if you dont have one, perhaps someone you know has one and you can use it.

Thanks a lot :) for the allen wrench i don't want to cut it i have the perfect size just to flat it a little bit in the end but i cant.

I think the hacksaw blade is good for tension wrench (hope its hard enough) but how to cut it to any other tools without buying some mechanics.

Again thanks a lot for all the suggestions i will read the topic you gave me hope find something useful.

I always found that the cheap allan wrenches bought from Wal-Mart is easier to file. Of course I use a big file they sell at Sears to do this and not with my key impressioning files. But even then it can be a bit time consuming.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
