I googled leet speak. These people really need to walk away from the computer and look at a girl.
Leet (written as 31337, 1337, and l33t), or Leetspeak, is a written form of slang (technically an argot) used primarily on the Internet, but becoming increasingly common in many online video games,[1] which uses various combinations of alphanumerics to replace proper letters. The term itself is a degenerative form of the word "elite", and the language it describes resembles a highly specialized form of electronic shorthand. At first the word leet was used as an adjective, to primarily describe the behavior or accomplishments of others in the community. In that usage, Leet generally carries the same meaning when referring to either the game prowess or, in original usage, hacking expertise of another person. From adjective form its use then expanded to include use as an expletive in reaction to a demonstration of the former qualities. With the mass proliferation of Internet use in the 1990s into the 21st century, Leet has since become a part of Internet culture and slang.[2] Leet may also be considered a substitution cipher, albeit with much variation from user to user.

n00bking: Thank You for complimenting our knowledge of locks, and one of the reasons I'm doing this is to help new users when they are looking for info on a lock they run into.
UWSDWF: Thank You for helping to reinforce site rules regarding use of common English language and not online chat slang/l33t hacker talk. This does help make messages easy to read, especially since some of our users are not native English speakers and may not be 2600 Hackers or IRC lurkers who know all the hax0r elite language.
sidenote: The elite language does have interesting history, but just like AOL chat kiddies who say plz ur and ppl it does get annoying and sometimes difficult to read.
I do respectfully ask everyone reading this to please refrain from turning my very useful post into yet another flame war here on lp101. I've noticed a trend lately of slamming users, and sometimes they deserve it, and sometimes they don't, but usually it just ends up hi-jacking a good thread, or even worse, locking it up. If you guys have beef, please use PM to each other and not troll, pollute or otherwise F up my thread.
warmest regards,
Squelchtone
ps. I want to see each one of you add a lock company NOT yet on the list. Thank You guys.

I just noticed another thing: it would be better to name the brand and model(s) (as squelchtone did originally). Otherwise it's going to get awfully confusing as many manufacturers simply rebadge other companies' models. An example of this is Mottura, who also do most of EVVA's locks (DPS, DPX, MCS, etc).
Re: my original problem with listing hundreds of pin tumbler lock makers - I meant pain vanilla pin tumbler (5 + 6 pin) locks, not the more interesting ones (which I call multiple inline) like Kaba, Keso, etc.
Here's a brand I don't think has been mentioned: Bricard.

That was meant to be "plain vanilla". That's what happens when you pick your nose and type at the same time

Point taken squelchtone. My offer for the list is Southern Steel manufacturing. They make institutional locks and hinges.
