15 pin euro cyinder!??!!??!

Hi

I was browsing the net looking for a new front door lock and I stumbled across this lock: a 15 pin lock :shock:

http://www.securitylocks.net/shop/catalog/product_408_ES_HISEC_EURO_SINGLE_CYLINDER_MASTERED.html

second lock down:

I was wondering id anyone has any experience with this lock or any euro cylinder with 15 pins!

Everything depends on how the pins are oriented. Ive seen the following styles

\|/ _|_

Kaba uses the first style on their Gemini locks, its a real pain to pick. The second style I have seen, on cruciform locks, but I dont have a manufacturer name. The cruciforms can be picked without a big hassle, but the Kaba is just a nightmare. Try thinking of the lock as 3 locks in one housing. Its not quite correct, but it is a good place to start.

That logo rimembered me something ... :D
MG Serrature is an Italian lock company, their cylinders are widely used in Italy. I've seen plenty of their standard cylinders around but I've never met this one.

Their website is: http://www.mgserrature.it/ but there are no much details in there.

What I've understood is that there are two versions of that lock:
HS - 15 pins;
HSP - 15 pins with mobile element inserted in the key (DOM "style");

If you want a look at the key with the mobile element you can follow this link: HSP
