They will come off when they snap off. So the street sweeper isn't an instant candy machine

If you read up before posting you would have found the detils on getting bristles,
They are found in places tht rip them from the brush not where they fall out,
They get caught up in curb joints, sharp corners etc etc,
Do some research and you should be able to go out where you saw the sweeper and infact find bristles in quick time,

I would recommend windshield wiper blade inserts and hacksaw blades instead of chasing down the sweeper truck every week begging for their "table scraps." After I left high school I found that I no longer had any time to devote to doing things like that, but thats just me.

I waited months and months for the street sweeper to come by my house and drop some bristles. Then one day it hit me......... I live on a gravel road..........

I swear one of these days a new guy to lockpicking will go as far as trying to harvest bristles off of a sweeper truck while its in motion and end up getting so badly injured that he'll have to find another hobby like soccer.

Anyone even know where those trucks go when they're done? Are there like 'street cleaner stations' or what? I think one member here mentioned going to the city hall for them, but do they really go there?
The wallmart by my place doesn't sell any wiper inserts . I even called a Pepboys (autoshop), and they didn't have any. I did buy a whole wiper from wallmart though and get it from there..and it was too thick. Back to bristles for me.

You two listen,
Go to your local garage, the smaller more back street the better,
Ask them if you can have the old blades from the rubbish bin,
Whenever i need any thats what i do and get around 30-40 within an hour of simply gogin round all my mates garages,
Street sweepers in the uk go back to the council garages at night so i guess somthing simular hapens there, where ever the people go who fix your roads would be the first place to start,
